Biografia actorului Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise (nascut Thomas Cruise Mapother IV pe 3 iulie 1962 in Syracuse, New York) pe parcursul anilor 80 era unul dintre cei mai promitatori actori de la Hollywood. Par negru, ochii albastrii si impunator, Tom Cruise avea sa joace in filme de succes precum Top Gun si Rain Man. La inceputul anilor 90 popularitatea sa a fost usor estompata, insa revine din plin cu roluri de erou in filme de actiune, iar in Jerry Maguire si Magnolia, un actor talentat. In 2000, joaca din nou in rolul agentului international Ethan Hunt in filmul lui John Woo, Mission: Impossible 2, filmul dovedindu-se a fi un succes.

A fost nominalizat de trei ori la premiul Oscar cu rolurile sale din Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Jerry Maguire (1996) si Magnolia (1999) si a castigat trei Globuri de Aur cu aceleasi filme.
