Clive Owen

Clive Owen s-a ascut pe 3 octombrie, 1964 in Keresley, Coventry, Warwickshire, Anglia.

Actor ce aminteste de Sean Connery cand era tanar, Clive Owen a atras atentia asupra sa odata cu aparitia in filmul Crupier (1998).

La televiziune a aparut pentru prima data in 1986, in serialul Boon, si a debutat pe marele ecran in 1987 cu filmul Vroom (1988). Primul rol mai important l-a avut in filmul Bent, din 1997, in regia lui Sean Mathias, o drama despre Holocaust, in care Clive Owen interpreta rolul unui bisexual ce se indragosteste de un coleg prizonier.

Marea lovitura o da cu filmul Croupier din 1998, urmat apoi de comedia Greenfingers, alaturi de Helen Mirren, film ce a avut premiera in anul 2000 la Festivalul de Film de la Toronto.
