Billy Crystal

Nascut pe 14 martie 1947 in Long Beach, Long Island, New York, Statele Unite, fiu al unui producator de concerte jazz, Billy Crystal a crescut in compania unor legende muzicale cum ar fi Billie Holiday, Pee Wee Russell si Eddy Condon.

La varsta de cinci ani, Billy Crystal dorea sa devina un profesionist, nu in muzica, ci in baseball sau comedie. In 1978 are prima aparitie in film cu Rabbit Test. Billy Crystal are mult succes in filme precum: This is Spinal Tap (1984), The Princess Bride (1987), Throw Momma From the Train (1987) si Când Harry a cunoscut-o pe Sally / When Harry Met Sally (1989).

In 1998, vedeta apare intr-o alta productie - My Giant, o comedie unde ca si in celelalte aparitii ale sale, s-a dovedit a nu fi un mare succes.

Billy Crystal face un salt in 1999 si apare in Analyze This, ca actor si producator executiv. Filmul este o comedie despre un sef mafiot, interpretat de Robert De Niro, care face terapie la un psihiatru (Billy Crystal). Filmul a fost un mare succes. In 2002 a aparut in Analyze That, continuarea marelui succes Analyze This.
