Biografia actriței Andie MacDowell

Infatisarea sa nu putea ramane neobservata, si in 1984 a obtinut un rol in filmul Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan. Dupa ce a facut parte din distributia filmului St. Elmo's Fire (1985), MacDowell a jucat extraordinar in Sex, lies and videotape (1989). Rolul din acet film i-a deschis noi oportunitati.

Andie MacDowell a aparut in filme ca Hudson Hawk (1991) si Bad Girls (1994), filme ce nu au inregistrat un mare succes. A avut succes cu filme ca Groundhog Day (1993), Short Cuts (1993), comedia romantica Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994).

A mai putut fi vazuta in Unstrung Heroes (1995), The Muse (1999) si Town and Country (2000).
