Ed Harris

Biografie:
Nascut Edward Allen Harris in Tenafly pe 28 noiembrie 1950, Ed Harris a studiat la Institutul de Arta din California si a absolvit cu o diploma in Artele Frumoase.

In 1983 debuteaza pe Broadway in piesa lui Sam Shepard - Fool for Love, cu o parte esentiala scrisa de el. Harris debuteaza in film in 1977 cu un film pentru televiziune - The Amazing Howard Hughes.
In urmatorii ani joaca in roluri mai importante, in filme cum ar fi:Â Coma (1978) si in 1982 Creepshow. Marea lovitura, ca vedeta a filmului, o da in 1983 cu The Right Stuff.
Douazeci de ani mai tarziu, Harris va intra din nou in lumea NASA, de aceasta data in rolul eroului Gene Krantz (castigand o nominalizare la Oscar) in Apollo 13 (2002).

Filme in care a jucat: Jacknife (1989), The Abyss (1989), The Firm (1993), Nixon (1995) si Absolute Power (1997).
